Mad Men, 30 Rock and new show Modern Family take the lead in the Nominations
The Writers Guild Of America Awards nominations where announced with the shows having three apiece in the TV category.
30 Rock and Modern Family will do battle for the Best Comedy Series and Best Comedy Episode.
While Mad Men received nominations for Best Drama Series and Best Drama Episode.
Nominations were announced on Monday and the shows are ready to do battle.
The winners will be unveiled in Los Angeles and New York on 20 February.
