Nicollette Sheridan is nursing two broken fingers after an accident at a stables near her California home.
The former Desperate Housewives star was leading her horse back to its stall after a ride last month (Jan11) when a loud car horn panicked the beast, causing it to buck and throw Sheridan against a fence, according to the National Enquirer.
Her businessman boyfriend Steve Pate took her to West Hills Hospital, where X-rays showed she had broken bones in her hand.
She was discharged from the medical centre after doctors fitted her with a metal splint.
A spokesperson for the actress had yet to comment on the report as WENN went to press.
Sheridan hasn't had much luck with horses - she was treated for minor injuries a year ago (Jan10) after falling during a ride.
