Shayne Ward started out selling shoes in a Manchester shop. Now the X Factor winner is stepping out on the catwalk at the other end of the fashion industry - in a show organised by Naomi Campbell.Shayne met supermodel Naomi at former Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.Ams gig at Cafe De Paris in London on Thursday night, where Ms Campbell was struck by his rugged good looks and asked him to take the stage at the fashion show in honour of South African president Nelson Mandela later this month. .According to the Sun newspaper Naomi and Shayne got on like a house on fire at Will.I.ams gig.The source added "Shayne had a brilliant time hanging out with his mate Wyclef, who introduced Shayne to Naomi. The two didnt stop talking after that."They got on so well that she has asked him if he would model in the show she is organising for Mandela. He jumped at the chance."The show still to be announced is expected to take place later this month in London.
Shayne said: "Im really pleased I was asked to take part in this show as its for an amazing cause and Naomi is one of the most beautiful and sexy women in the world. Who wouldnt want to walk down the catwalk with her?" Shayne seems to be loving the trappings of fame - especially the attention from beautiful women.
He is still with childhood sweetheart Faye McKeever but the couple have found their relationship under pressure from Shaynes trips to LA to record his second album.
On the set for his latest video he took a shine to stunning Brazilian model Gabriella after spending a day rolling around in his underwear with her, although he may want to think twice about pulling the fiery model.
