Queen Latifahs summer vacation came to screeching halt when she was injured during a motorcycling accident, according to reports.The rapper-turned-actress rented a motor scooter to tour the U.S. Virgin island of St. Thomas in May, but the star's tropical getaway was cut short when she lost control of the vehicle and "went flying," reports the National Enquirer.A source tells the tabloid, "She's lucky she wasn't killed. Fortunately, there weren't any cars or other scooters behind her when the accident occurred".Latifah injured her right elbow and knee in the crash, according to reports, but refused to seek treatment at a nearby hospital.The source adds: "Luckily, she didn't break any bones. But she was suffering and was prescribed painkillers."
