Upon winning the US Open final earlier this month (September 11th, 2021) against Canada’s Leylah Fernandez, British tennis champion and world ranked 22, Emma Raducanu, was the name on everybody’s lips on both sides of the Atlantic.

Now one of the most recognisable young rising stars of her generation, we got to thinking about others who are soaring through the ranks of their chosen career paths, likely set to emulate that same success that Raducanu has enjoyed to-date.

Here are five young rising stars that could become just as successful as Emma Raducanu

Having shot to stardom thanks to a number of different roles including that of Maeve in hit Netflix original series Sex Education, Emma Mackey is a young woman who we’re sure we’ll be seeing a lot of in the decades to come.

She’s recently wrapped filming on the upcoming movie Death on the Nile, which is set for release at some point in 2022. The movie Emily - in which she is taking on the titular role of Emily Brontë - will also hit the big screen next year, so Mackey will enjoy a lot of exposure that will continue to see her star shine!

Aidan Bryant

Coming off a hugely-impressive run on America’s Got Talent, where he ultimately finished in the runner-up position, this teenage aerial acrobat delivered some of the most gorgeous, yet dangerous performances the talent competition has ever seen; so much so that Simon Cowell climbed onto his desk to applaud Bryant’s final showcase!

Though he didn't take home the win in the end, Bryant will undoubtedly be hearing his phone ring off the hook when it comes to opportunities. If he doesn’t get his own show in Las Vegas in the very near future, we’ll eat our hats!

Caroline Dubois

This 20-year-old British boxer already has a string of exciting accolades to her name, including Youth Olympic champion, World Youth champion and four-time European Youth champion. This past summer at Tokyo 2020, she took home the silver medal, only losing out to Kellie Harrington in the final on a split decision.

Born in Enfield, London, Dubois could quickly become one of the most successful young stars of sport the country has ever produced. She’s already being compared to the highly-decorated Nicola Adams!

Another member of the Sex Education cast is Ncuti Gatwa, who has proven he has some of the finest acting chops of recent memory. Whether he’s delivering a stunning and emotional performance, or landing some quick-witted barbs and telling sink dodgers to “wash your hands, you dirty pig”, he has our eyes glued to the screen whenever he’s around.

NOAHFINNCE

This young music sensation has enjoyed many months of heightened success thanks to their unique sound and incredible recent single release, Kickin’ Trash, along with the excellent EP, Stuff From My Brain. He now enjoys millions of streams from adoring fans.

Not only happy to entertain us, NOAHFINNCE talks all about important topics and subjects close to his heart. Being a trans man, he has a lot of experience in dealing with bigotry; we just know he’s going to be using his voice for good for the foreseeable future!
