Qype, Europe’s leading consumer reviews website, have revealed their list of the highest rated cafe and coffee shops, and London cafes came out on top, with nine of the best being situated in the capital.

Edinburgh's Artisan Roast took the number one place, with Scandinavian Kitchen in Fitzrovia coming a close second. Of the London cafe, one reviewer wrote: "The best cafe! Amazing coffee, lovely staff, and good sweedetacular grub!”, as another claimed: “This is one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to… will return for more!”

“It’s great to see that the Capital has such a range of fantastic cafes. With so much positive feedback from our users it demonstrates that true passion combined with great food and drink will be recognised”, says Richard Dennys, Qype’s Chief Marketing Officer.
“It’s really positive to see our users favouring smaller chains and independent stores, it just shows that quality is king”, he added.
