Nights out in London: Floridita's Black Heart Halloween party

If you're looking for a spooky yet stylish Halloween night out tomorrow, look no further than Floridita, the famous cocktail bar, restaurant and live performance venue. The stylish Soho cocktail bar is turning all dark tomorrow (31.10.12), with live music, dancing, and a ghoulish menu that's not for the faint-hearted.

The Head Chef at Floridita's, Richard Sawyer, has created a Black Menu for the evening, with creepy meal options designed to tempt and tantalise.

To start with, you'll have a choice of Black Bean Soup with Devilled Autumn Squash Toasts & Palm Oil, or a Bloody Mary Tomato Risotto with Crisp Black Aubergine Straw.

Moving on the main, guests can then pick from a delicious Chargrilled 8oz Rump Piancnha Steak with Scotch Bonnet and Roasted Garlic Butter, Blackened Sea Bream Fillet with Wilted Greens, and Salt & Pepper Squid Ink Noodles or Cracked Black Pepper Gnocchi with Grilled Halloumi Cheese and Spiced & Sliced Tomato Relish.

Desserts are Caramelised Pumpkin and Cinnamon Pie with Sweet Vanilla Cream or Warm Dark Chocolate Fondant, and Black Cherry Ice Cream.

What's great about Floridita's Black Heart Halloween menu is that there's never a compromise on quality. Too often, Halloween food focuses too hard on being visually impressive, with little thought to the taste, and it can actually look quite unappealing.

The evening will also be soundtracked by a live music set from the popular Afro Latino Funk Orchestra Kalakuta Millionaires, with support from Pocket Caravan, which promises to take you on a journey through the exciting rhythms and dances from across the world.

Tickets for the three course Black Heart Menu and the Live show is £25.00.
