Hello everyone,

Caroline Oldham

Those winter nights are slowly creeping in, I am not a massive tea or coffee drinker but recently have found a great combination of green the with almond milk, one of my favourites for this is Tplus, they are delightful bags of green tea which are flavoured and also have added vitamins. It might seem strange but if you are like me and like a fruity tea then try it you won't be disappointed!

Restaurant Hangout of the Week

The Burger Bar is located in Harrods, if you have ever been to Harrods you will know that it is always busy! We tried to get into 2 places to eat before we actually found somewhere! We really wanted middle eastern food but the queue was too long. The Burger Bar is more of a grab a quick bite between shopping place. I am not huge on fast food and being coeliac it is never easy to eat at burger places unless they have gluten free patties and buns which a lot of restaurants don't. I only wanted a quick snack as I was shopping and trying to find a dress to my mum's 60th so the worst thing is to eat loads and then not feel nice in a dress. So i have some Halloumi bites, fries with the cream coleslaw which was shredded cabbage mixed with mayonnaise. The food was really simple yet delicious, although I didn't only have things that were on the sides menu. They don't do gluten free buns although I am sure you could ask for it without the burger. I also didn't ask if the burgers were gluten free as I was not in the mood for one. It does seem to be more soon the quiet side due to the other restaurants as it is fast food. The cocktails were really god they had a lovely strawberry and mint one, they also have some wonderful milkshakes too!

This vegan vegetable stack is delicious, a great alternative to meat and it is also gluten free, dairy free and vegan! Top with my vegan pesto for extra added flavour. Mushrooms help to increase you Vitamin D as well as boosting your immune system. They are packed of antioxidants as well as increasing your metabolic rates. Aubergine (also known as eggplant) is a very good source of dietary fiber, vitamin B1, and copper. It is a good source of manganese, vitamin B6, niacin, potassium, folate, and vitamin K. Rocket is low in calorie so pile on as much as you want and is also a great source of Vitamin A, C and K. You can use whatever colour peppers you like I prefer to favour the red and orange as they are sweeter which are a great source of Vitamin C, B6 and magnesium as well as healthy to maintain healthy night vision and are packed with antioxidants. This vegan vegetable stack couldn't get anymore healthy and is one of my favourite 'Meatless Monday' meals.
