Kids Recipes: Oreo Pops

Keeping the kids entertained can be a chore but if it involves Oreo’s and chocolate then you’re bound to have them on board.

These Oreo Pops are really good fun to make and not to mention super tasty so why not have a go?

Oreo Pops

Ingredients:

9 Oreo biscuits

30g Light Philadelphia

25g white chocolate, in bits

6 lollipop sticks

Method:

1. Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs.

2. Mix with Philadelphia to form a dough.

3. Shape into 6 balls and chill for 15 minutes or until firm.

4. Decorate together by pushing the sticks into the balls and dipping into the melted chocolate before decorating.

Tips:

Melt the chocolate in a small bowl over a saucepan of hot water, or on a low microwave setting.

To make the balls stick more firmly on the lollipop sticks, dip the ends of the sticks in the melted chocolate before pushing the sticks into the balls.

Keep refrigerated until required.

Lollipop or cake-pop sticks can found through asda.com or other major retailers and kitchen accessories stores.
