Carl 'The Cobra' Froch was amongst the celebrities lining up to help launch and get involved with Star Wars Battlefront - Battle of Jakku earlier this week.

Comedian Rufus Hound, Radio X DJ Chris Moyles and British rock group You Me At Six were also in London for the event, all part of a 40-player set-up featuring some of YouTubes most prominent gamers as well as a handful of competition winners.

Froch said: "Watching gameplay on the planet of Jakku, knowing that this battle created the debris strewn landscape we've see in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer was a brilliant experience."

Moyles added: "I'm a massive Star Wars fan and have been on Star Wars Battlefront constantly since it was released. My excitement for the film is ridiculous so the new Star Wars Battlefront game is perfectly timed to get me ready for the new movie. It's Star Wars. Who doesn't love Star Wars?"

Created through a collaboration between DICE and Lucasfilm, The Battle of Jakku takes place 29 years before new movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the aftermath of the Rebel victory in the Battle of Endor.

Those who own Battlefront can download Battle of Jakku for free, which includes two new maps and a new game mode - Turning Point - available for those who pre-ordered now and for everyone else from December 8.

Star Wars Battlefront is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Origin for PC.
