The 41-year-old stunt driver - real name Ben Collins - is one of a host of famous faces to team up with video games developer Activision to create their own vehicle to be used in the toys to life title.

The charity will auction off the models to the highest bidder, with the proceeds helping to support the many wishes that Make-A-Wish grants to children with life-threatening medical conditions around the world each year.

When he was approached to be involved in the project, The Stig had no hesitation in saying yes.

He revealed: "As soon as I heard about this 'Skylanders' activity I had to take part. Being a huge fan of racing and cars, I think 'Skylanders: SuperChargers' is really cool and I'm enjoying playing the game! It's a great idea to raise money for a highly deserving cause, like Make-A-Wish, and getting to customise my own 'SuperChargers' car was awesome."

As well as The Stig, former Formula 1 drivers Max Chilton and Timo Glock, French TV presenter Joan Faggianelli, kitesurfing champion Gisela Pulido and YouTubers St3pny and TheKing77 have also lent their talents to the project.

Each person has designed their very own SuperCharger car - either a Hot Streak or Crypt Crusher, two vehicles from 'Skylanders: SuperChargers' - and the designs have been sprayed onto models of the cars for fans to bid on and raise money for Make-A-Wish.

Discussing the fundraising campaign, Jon Stettner, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish International, said: "On behalf of my colleagues across Europe, I would like to thank Activision, and all the famous faces involved in the project, for this fantastic collaboration. We are thrilled with the unique vehicles that have been specially designed and the money raised will help us in our ongoing efforts to grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions."

Go to Makeawish.vonality.com to view the unique designs and bid on the toys. The auction will come to an end on April 8, 2016.
