The upcoming title will launch on March 2 next year, with the game set as an Xbox Series X/S launch title in November.

Developer PGG Studio added on Twitter: "We're happy to announce that 'Yakuza: Like a Dragon' is coming to Xbox Series X S, Xbox One, Windows 10, PlayStation 4, and Steam slightly earlier on November 10!"

The company also explained that digital owners of the PS4 game can get a free PS5 upgrade on the PlayStation Store immediately after the title's next gen release.

The studio added that while this is also true for the physical version, save data will not be able to be transferred between generations.

The tweet read: "To clarify, physical owners of 'Yakuza: Like a Dragon' on PS4 can also use the original disc to upgrade to the PS5 version when it releases on March 2, 2021.
