Female Orgasm

Female Orgasm

Last month it was reported that orgasm could offer relief for the 3 million people thought to suffer with the unusual condition of Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) in the UK. RLS is a neurological disorder in which painful, needle-like sensations in your legs make you ache and jerk around, often as you’re trying to sleep.

There is currently no known cure for RLS so it came as good news when a case study was published in the April issue of Sleep Medicine which showed that orgasm appears to relieve the symptoms of the condition.

This discovery makes sense as it is thought RLS is caused by sub-optimal dopamine function in the brain. Dopamine is known as the ‘pleasure hormone” and is released in large amounts during orgasm, corroborating the connection with RLS relief.

This link could also help explain why an unusual natural remedy has been seen to help calm RLS and may come in handy when an orgasm wouldn’t be socially acceptable!

Klamath AFA is a specific kind of algae that grows wild in Klamath Lake in the Rockies. It has been used over the last few decades for its general health and mood boosting benefits, but it has also been seen to help people with RLS. Although the link between the algae’s mood lifting ability and RLS may not at first be obvious, it has been discovered that Klamath AFA is the richest known source of a substance called phenylethylamine (PEA). PEA (also coined the “love molecule” by scientists)is able in itself to lift mood but it also raises the level of freely circulating dopamine in the brain, helping you get the pleasure that wards off Restless Legs when orgasm just isn’t an option.

So even if its not the cure think of the fun trying it out.

Pleasure in a bottle…
VitalCALM is one of the UK’s leading Klamath products and combines specific algae extracts with extracts of grape, ginger and anise to create safe and effective dopamine support.
