Mark Ronson

Mark Ronson

Mark Ronson is a name we can't escape at the moment. When he's not making great music he's mixing with Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse and all the cool London kids and with geek chic more popular than ever- we can't deny he is a top grade hottie. Mark was born in Britain in 1975 but moved to New York with his scarily talented family when he was 8. He is the stepson of guitarist Mick Jones of Foreigner and also brother of singer/DJ/Lindsay Lohan lover Samantha Ronson and clothing designer Charlotte Ronson- their mother must be so proud! Sexy Mark became a regular at downtown hip-hop spotsin the early 90s and made his name as a DJ on the New York club scene. He was soon one of the most respected DJs and was being called on for celebrities' private parties. These days Mark is just as well known for making record as he is spinning other people's "Ooh Wee" featuring Ghostface Killah and Nate Dogg, the cover version of The Smiths song "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before" and his collaboration with Lily Allen on his version of the Kaiser Chiefs track "Oh My God" have all helped Mark make a name for himself. The 32 year old shy fella has been a busy bee this summer playing both live and DJ sets at all the top festivals including V Festival and Creamfields. "I can play for any crowd," a modest Ronson told New York magazine. "For the fashion-Donna Karan crowd, for the downtown-hip-hop-D'Angelo crowd, for a thugged-out crowd, and, like, for Upper East Side furniture designers." Well with talent like his you would be stupid not to big yourself up a bit. We think Mark's 'deep in thought' brown eyes, his geeky charm and the way he just oozes cool make him a definite hottie.
