Who needs a nip and a tuck when we can spend just a fraction of the cost on some figure fixing lingerie or clothing?

New research by TU at Sainsbury's shows that three out of four women would never consider having surgery to cure their insecurities.

It seems the confidence of British females has rocketed in recent years and nearly half of women asked rate happiness with their appearance as seven out of 10 or higher.

Despite the prevalence of surgery in celebrities and other studies declaring that plastic surgery is on the rise, it's encouraging to see that perhaps this is not the case.

The survey polled 2,000 women, it revealed that women are turning to lesss invasive methods to look their best, choosing the high street to provide quick-fix solutions such as shape enhancing clothing instead.
