Caviar manicure

Caviar manicure

Caviar nails are a must have, colour and texture in one - we can't get enough.

Former Gossip Girl actress, Jessica Szohr has even been spotted trying out the trend.

Here we have a step-by-step guide on how to create the perfect Caviar manicure.

For this particular look we used the Ciate Rainbow colour, but it is also available in Mother of Pearl and Black Pearl.

Here we go:

As always start with a clear basecoat so your nails are protected and don't get stained by any colour.

Remove entire plastic tray from the packaging and lift off top cover. This cover will be used as your tray to collect any excess Caviar pearls.

Paint all of your nails the base coat colour, as provided in the set. As you can see from the picture (left) you will need another coat to ensure maximum coverage.

Once dry, paint on your second coat, but only work with one nail at a time.

Whilst the nail is still wet, place your finger over the tray and sprinkle Caviar pearls over your the nail.

Once fully covered, gently press and compact the Caviar pearls into your nail bed to ensure durability.

Then work through the rest of your fingers, again one at a time.

Place the mini funnel, provided in the set, into the Caviar pearls bottle and tilt the tray over the funnel to pour in your precious beads.

Once finished, leave your nails to completely dry for 15 to 20 minutes.

Voila! You now have perfectly Caviar manicured nails.

The best thing about this look is how easy it is to remove too. Unlike glitter varnish this comes off in one quick sweep.

Ciaté Caviar Manicure sets are £18 each.
