If there's one fashion rule we will never allow yo be broken, unless your name happens to be Grandad, it is wearing socks with sandals so Chloe Sevigny should be hanging her head in shame today.
Chloe was spotted at this weekend's Coachella festival in California wearing the, surely illegal, combination of beige sandals and, quite thick looking black socks. Words really do fail us.
From the knees up it was all good as the actress wore a cute floral dress over a black tee with sunnies and wore her hair in soft waves, perfect for the occasion. We're sure her feet were baking in the heat though, we wouldn't like to be there when she took them socks off!
Chloe is supposed to be a bit of a style icon so we're slightly worried that this look may catch on and come August the rest of the world will be sporting the socks and sandals combo.
We're all for been different and following your own trends but we're afraid we just can't sit back and let this one go. Chloe, unless you want to loose your style icon status for good ditch the socks. Now.
