Nicola McLean has been out of the limelight, fortunately, for a while following her appearance on last year's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here but she turned up on the red carpet at last night's Confessions of a Shopaholic premiere wearing one of the worst outfits we've seen in a while.
It's ironic that Nicola chose the premiere of a film about shopping to show this outfit because unlike main character Becky Bloomwood, who can't stop spending in designer stores Nicola looks like she has had a bit of a spree on a market stall.
The worst part of the outfit is by far the boots. The PVC knee highs look like a cross between a pantomime star and a lap dancers footwear of choice. Shoes that look they would melt under a few hot lights have no place on the red carpet.
Instead of the bright coloured, cleavage flashing, attention grabbing dress we would expect Nicola to wear to a high profile event, she oddly choose to wear just a long sleeved black T-shirt and leggings.
Firstly she has performed a major fashion no-no, leggings should only be worn with a long top covering the crotch area, after all a camel's toe is nobody's friend. Secondly the T-shirt is probably the most boring item we have ever seen on a red carpet, we've slept in more interesting things!
Nicola finished the outfit with a huge leopard print bag. We know animal print is a huge trend but this bag just looks cheap and tacky, but then what else would we expect from Nicola.
Next time Nicola we'd prefer a rainbow coloured, thigh high split, navel plunging cleavage dress. At least it will give us something to laugh about!
