Jennifer Connelly ensures she makes smart decisions when it comes to her style on the red carpet, and avoids clothes with popper buttons.
The actress tries to avoid embarrassing moments by avoiding these styles because she fears they'll come undone while she poses and reveal her modesty.
Speaking to InStyle UK magazine, she said: "I don't have many red carpet rules except to avoid wearing anything that fastens with poppers - they're not reliable!"
The brunette beauty insists she is always drawn to a comfortable pair of flat shoes and her stylish biker jacket because she can team them with anything for on-the-go fashion.
She explained: "I tend to wear the same things over and over, like my Lanvin flats and my leather jacket."
The 42-year-old also changes up her style depending on the film role she has been working on recently.
She said: "My style is influenced by what I'm doing. For my last film I chopped my hair into a bob and since then I've been wearing a lot of tomboyish APC jeans in a gorgeous faded blue."
