Kate Hudson was glowing at the event

Last week’s Tiffany & Co Ball drew a number of starlets, all of whom dressed to impress with a fine selection of gowns and outfits.

Best dressed of the evening had to be Kate Hudson who looked radiant in a Tiffany-blue gown from the Reem Acra Resort 2013 collection.

The whole look was nothing short of perfection. The sweetheart neckline, draped detailing, a side-tie, thigh split – all oozed sex appeal.

Simple nude peep-toes, a cream clutch, Tiffany & Co. drop earrings, bracelet and ring completed her look.

Her glossy hair was swept to the side and loose waves framed her face. A stunning look.

Gwyneth Paltrow opted out of the London premiere of Iron Man in favour of the Tiffany & Co ball in New York, she kept her look simple with a steel-blue colum dress with cold-shoulder detail from Ralph Lauren.

The look was very simple, but forgettable from the actress. Will she ever be able to top the Tom Ford caped gown she wore? Or should she stick to her mini-dresses and shorts because they always seem to work for her.

Hilary Rhoda looked resplendent in a Donna Karan Atelier halter gown with keyhole detail and micro crystal embellishments – perfect for a Tiffany & Co ball.

Carey Mulligan chose a different look for the red carpet, opting for a black suit from the Victoria Beckham Fall 2013 collection – the first pieces worn from the collection, other than by the designer herself, of course.

The ‘Le Smoking’ tuxedo suit features satin collar lapels and a beautiful twist via the slashed-sleeves.

Carey kept the whole look simple with black t-bar heels and barely-there make-up and slicked back hair.

A bold statement, but beautiful none-the-less.

Jessica Biel chose one of her favourite designers, Elie Saab, for the evening. The stunning navy floral gown looked beautiful.

Proving that the Lebanese designer doesn’t need embellishment to make his pieces beautiful, this dress is made from a simple but exquisite chiffon material with sheer panels.

Sarah Jessica Parker channelled her true fashionista style with a vintage gold foil-style dress, which she paired with a black oversize jacket and layered short pendant necklaces. Tumbling waves and kohl-rimmed eyeliner completed her perfected look.

Michelle Williams chose an upcoming designer for the evening in a navy Katie Ermilio sleeveless dress with exaggerated pointed hip details. The simple dress was perfect for the petite actress.

Poppy Delevingne chose a more laidback Dolce & Gabbana outfit for the evening, quite shocking when you consider how many of these events she will have attended in the past. The bold clashing prints is perfect for Spring, but not really event appropriate.

The evening was awash with beautiful jewels and some beautiful gowns. Kate Hudson definitely stole the show in her Reem Acra gown though.
