Vauxhall ashion Scout reveals designers to watch out for

London Fashion Week is just over a month a way and with that Vauxhall Fashion Scout has revealed the four designers on it Ones to Watch Line up.

Anja Mlakar, Kirsty Ward, Sara Bro Jorgensen and Tze Goh are supposedly the new designers who we will all be wearing in the coming seasons.

VFS gives the designers the opportunity to showcase their designs in a unique catwalk experience to all the right people in a packed audience, in the hope of gaining some recognition.

Anja Mlakar is a Central Saint Martin’s graduate who last season’s sculptural debut collection ‘Blue Tube’ attempted to redefine the female form by creating non-logical dreamlike atmosphere. The dresses were constructed using foam tubes and layers of electric blue stretch jersey, creating a smooth look.

Kirsty Ward is another Central Saint Martin’s graduate, who worked for Alberta Ferretti for a year and a half after graduating, here she honed her craft and has now chosen to design her own line, she also designs a line of women’s silver jewellery. David Longshaw, another Vauxhall Fashion Scout Winner asked her to design a line of jewellery for his catwalk collection.

Sara Bro Jorgensen is a former photographer who has also studied the craft of knitwear. Sara plays to her strengths as they both play a part in inspiring her collection.

Tze Goh is a well travelled designer. Originally from Singapore, he studied at Parsons in New York, with his base now in London. Before this prestigious opportunity he was already causing a stir amongst the fashion elite with his architectural pieces.
