Sixties icon Lulu has admitted her days of miniskirts and short cut dresses are well behind her.

"I do have to be careful - everything has to be age-appropriate," she told the Daily Express.

"I've realised, sadly, I can't do miniskirts now."

The 57 year old singer still has a petite size 8 figure and confessed she does like to have a browse in TopShop with her neices from time to time.

She takes care of her toned body by going to yoga classes and regularly going on long walks with her dogs.

"I used to run but my knees gave out - that's something I hate about aging," she confesses.

The Shout star famously married and divorced late Bee Gee, Maurice Gibb and celebrity hairdresser John Freida, but she says her experiences haven't put her off love.

"There's no nice new man, but I'm definitely open to any suggestions!"

"As a single person, you become a bit selfish, Mind you, I've always liked my own way."
