Sarah Burton creation on display at Buckingham Palace

Yes it's still all about that dress. The dress that had people talking months before it was even seen. The dress that had people gushing when it was finally unveiled to the world and will have people swooning over it for many more years to come...

It is of course, the Sarah Burton fairytale creation worn by Catherine Middleton for her wedding at Westminster Abbey, and it's finally on display at Buckingham Palace.

Designed by Burton, the stunning ivory and white satin gazar gown is a one of a kind and not only received world wide praise, set off a trend in lace quicker than we have ever seen a trend start before.

With a train that measured only 9ft and a full bodied 'opening flower' skirt, now you can have an even closer look at the dress without having to wait for a suitable camera angle.

As well as being able to see the dress, visitors will also get to see the veil, shoes, a silk replica of her bouquet and the Cartier 'halo' tiara worn by Catherine.

Interest in the royals has soared as a result of the royal wedding this year with a dramatic increase in advance ticket sales for the summer tour of Buckingham Palace. Figures have hit 126,000, up 107% from the same time last year.

A staggering 643,000 people are expected to take the tour, which allows the record number of visitors the chance to see 19 state rooms as well as the one of a kind dress.

Hundreds of millions of people all over the world have already seen the dress, but now thousands will travel to the Palace with the sole intention of getting a better view of the lace, the intracies and the handmade effort that went into turning Catherine, just an ordinary girl, into Catherine the bride, Catherine the fashion status and a Princess.
