Temperley London SS15

Temperley London SS15

The masculine fashion trend was given a fresh spin at the Temperley London SS15 collection, and it’s a look we’re looking forward to getting on board with come the new season.

Pieces were free flowing, relaxed in fit, but pastel colours, plunging necklines and sheer fabrics gave the collection a feminine, fresh look.

Working perfectly with the relaxed mood of the Summer 2015 collection, Temperley London launch a range of beautiful lace-up trainers in a variety of designs too.

Produced in Italy, the lace-up trainers mirror the prints and fabrics of the show collection and come in 7 different styles. Digitally engineered patterns including hand painted shells, geometric graphics and colourful stripes create a playful and fun capsule.

Alice Temperley, MBE, Creative Director talks about the brand: ‘‘Now is a time of evolution at Temperley London.

“Having merged Alice by Temperley into our mainline collection Temperley London, I am very excited to be able to focus on a full day-to-evening offering in a relaxed, modern and versatile style, while staying true to our British heritage.

“Suiting is a key focus for Summer 2015, soft sculptured lines, layered to create an effortless silhouette with femininity accentuated by rich jacquards, beautifully ornate detail and fresh colours.

“For the first time on the runway, tailored separates are paired with exclusive Temperley lace-up trainers in the season’s key prints, giving the collection a younger, more relaxed attitude.

“The radiant colour palette takes inspiration from Japanese Shunga ink paintings and the patterns of woodblock prints illustrated through the rich juxtaposition of checks, stripes and abstract marine life across silks, knits and embroidery.

“Still present is signature Temperley London eveningwear in fluid shapes that move with lightness and grace. “Summer pastels, lattice artwork inspired by fishnet and graphic rope which mirror the print and ornate detail of crystal sea creatures. A collection that is wearable with a strong contemporary edge.”

Temperley London lace-ups will be in store February 2015 and prices start at £265.
