The Wedding Planner School hold courses over weekend periods so they are perfect for people who already have one job. Students can study for two days and leave on Sunday with a fully recognised qualification and be ready to start wedding planning straight away.

Despite the unstable economy couples are continuing to marry but more than ever need professional help to manage their wedding budgets. Demand for wedding planners is as high as ever. Get some new skills training under your belt now in case you are made redundant from your current job or wish to supplement your income.

Wedding planning is a fun, dynamic job, which is flexible enough to fit around other commitments as a second job or as an outside interest for mums and housewives. With the right training anyone can make a success of becoming a wedding and event planner.

Following the popularity of the wedding planner courses run in previous years a string of courses have arranged a nationwide course itinerary for 2009. Courses are starting in London on 21-22nd February with more courses in Bath, Leeds, Leicestershire, and Manchester, and Swindon throughout the year until November 2009.

Former student and credit crunch sufferer Faye Atkinson says; "Like a lot of people these days, I’ve fallen into debt. I work five days a week as a PA and am paid £25,000 a year, but since splitting up with my boyfriend two years ago I’ve been left to pay the mortgage on my own. After a year-and-a-half I’d borrowed so much money on my credit cards I was £10,000 in debt.

"Then I came across an advert for The Wedding Planner School and I knew immediately that was what I wanted to do. I got my first client through a database held by the school and I’m now planning two other weddings.

"It’s a fantastic second job and financially it will take the strain off me. My aim is to make about £15,000 a year through it. Once I’m out of debt I’m going to buy myself a black Audi A3 convertible."

The new courses are enrolling now, and for those who are unable to attend on any of the dates, or who prefer to learn independently or from home, a correspondence course option is now also available.

This modular, portfolio-building format can be provided in standard print, large print and audio formats and coursework can be submitted by either post or email, enabling trainees to conveniently complete the diploma course from the comfort of their own home.

So, there’s no need to the credit crunch to have you quaking in your boots, enrol with The Wedding Planner School and laugh in the face of recession whilst boosting your bank balance.
