Hugo

Hugo

There has been a distressing lack of quality 3D movies this year but all that may be about to change as Oscar winning filmmaker Martin Scorsese is set to bring a 3D movie to the big screen for the very first time in the form of Hugo.

It seems that Scorsese has had his heart set on making a 3D movie for some time and this winter we will get to see what he has created - I have to admit that I am really looking forward to this one.

The movie looks set to be the breakthrough role for young actor Asa Butterfield as he joins forces with Chloe Moretz.

It goes without saying that a Scorsese movie has brought together an impressive as Jude Law, Christopher Lee and Emily Mortimer, Ben Kingsley and Ray Winstone will also star.

Hugo tells the story of an orphan boy living a secret life in the walls of a Paris train station.

With the help of an eccentric girl, he searches for the answer to a mystery linking the father he recently lost, the ill-tempered toy shop owner living below him and a heart shaped lock, seemingly without a key.

Hugo is released December 2nd
