Les Misérables

Les Misérables

If there is one January movie that we are super excited about seeing then it is Les Misérables as Tom Hooper brings the musical to the big screen.

Yes Oscar winning Hooper is back with his first project since the huge success of The King's Speech and Les Mis is set to be one of those movies that is not to be missed.

And if you are as excited about the movie as we are then you will be delighted to know that we have the fantastic new international trailer for you to take a look at.

This time around we get to hear more of the fantastic music and see more of the revolution - this is the best trailer for the film yet:

Hugh Jackman takes on the iconic role of Jean Valjean and he is joined by Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway as Javert and Fantine.

Also on the all star cast list are Amanda Seyfried, Helena Bonham Carter, Eddie Redmayne and Sacha Baron Cohen.

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France,Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption - a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit.

Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Crowe) after he breaks parole.

When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s (Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.

Hooper really seems to have brought 19th Century France to life with this movie and I can't wait to see such a talented cast bring these well known and much loved characters to life.

The awards season is not just around the corner and this is a movie that is set to feature heavily over the coming weeks.

The movie is already tipped to pick up a whole host of Oscar nominations... could Hooper really have the same success again?

Les Misérables is released 11th January.
