So to celebrate the release of the movie we take a look at the bevy of beauties that Damon has shared the big screen with.

Minnie Driver - Good Will Hunting (1997)

Matt Damon made a name for himself back in 1997 when he and his good pal Ben Affleck penned the script for Good Will Hunting, for which they won an Oscar, as well as starred in the movie.

Set in Boston and Cambridge, about rebellious 20-year-old MIT janitor Will Hunting (Damon), gifted with a photographic memory, who hangs out with his South Boston bar buddies, his best friend Chuckie (Affleck), and his affluent British girlfriend Skylar (Minnie Driver).

After MIT professor Lambeau (Stellan Skarsgard) stumps students with a challenging math formula on a hallway blackboard, Will anonymously leaves the correct solution, prompting Lambeau to track the elusive young genius.

Verdict: The pair challenge each other and while they part on bad terms Will leaves his life behind to track her down.

Gwyneth Paltrow - The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999)

In 1999 Matt Damon team up with Gwyneth Paltrow and Jude Law as Anthony Minghella brought Patricia Highsmith's 1955 novel to the big screen.

In late 1950's New York, Tom Ripley, a young underachiever, is sent to Europe to retrieve a rich and spoiled millionaire playboy, named Dickie Greenleaf.

But when the errand fails, Ripley takes extreme measures.

Verdict: Ripley isn't really interested in Marge but Dickie and trying to lead his flamboyant and care-free lifestyle.

Franka Potente  - The Bourne Series

It was the Bourne series of movies that really announced Damon as a leading man and action star as he appeared in The Bourne Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum from 2002 - 2007.

A man is picked up by a fishing boat, bullet-riddled and without memory, then races to elude assassins and recover from amnesia.

When he meets Marie Kreutz, a hard-luck German-born wanderer, he makes a desperate pitch--$10,000 for a ride to Paris.

Despite her reservations, Marie takes the cash and begins a journey with Bourne that changes her life forever.

Verdict: Marie's death makes Bourne even more determined to discover who is chasing him and why. A couple who would have been together forever.

Vera Farmiga - The Departed (2006)

A Martin Scorsese movie to good an opportunity to turn down and Damon teamed up with Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg back in 2006.

Young undercover cop Billy Costigan (DiCaprio) is assigned to infiltrate the mob syndicate run by gangland chief Costello (Nicholson).

While Billy is quickly gaining Costello's confidence, Colin Sullivan (Damon), a hardened young criminal who has infiltrated the police department as an informer for the syndicate, is rising to a position of power in the Special Investigation Unit.

Stuck in the middle is Madolyn (Vera Farmiga) who is dating Sullivan whilst being councillor for Costigan

Verdict: Sullivan kept too many secrets and Madolyn was more interested in Billy Costigan - by whom she was fell pregnant.

Angelina Jolie - The Good Shepherd (2006)

Damon teamed up with Angelina Jolie and Robert De Niro, who also directed the movie, in 2006 in a movie about the birth of counter-intelligence in the Central Intelligence Agency.

As one of the covert founders of the CIA, working in the heart of an organization where duplicity is required and nothing is taken at face value, Edward's idealism is steadily eroded by a growing suspicious nature, reflective of a world settling into the long paranoia of the Cold War.

As his methods are adopted as standard operating procedure, Wilson develops into one of the Agency's veteran operatives, all the while combating his KGB counterpart.

However, his steely dedication to his country comes at an ever-increasing price. Not even his wife Clover or his beloved son can divert Wilson from a path that will force him to sacrifice everything in pursuit of this job

Verdict: Edward was forced to leave the woman that he loved when a one night stand left Clover pregnant. But the nature of his work leaves him a stranger to both his wife and his son.

Emily Blunt - The Adjustment Bureau (2010)

Damon is back on the big screen this week as he teams up with Emily Blunt for the thriller directed by George Nolfi.

On the brink of winning a seat in the U.S. Senate, ambitious politician David Norris meets beautiful contemporary ballet dancer Elise Sellas - a woman like none he's ever known.

But just as he realizes he's falling for her, mysterious men conspire to keep the two apart.

David learns he is up against the agents of Fate itself - the men of The Adjustment Bureau - who will do everything in their considerable power to prevent David and Elise from being together.

In the face of overwhelming odds, he must either let her go and accept a predetermined path... or risk everything to defy Fate and be with her.

Verdict: Norris is willing to go against the Adjustment Bureau and fate to be with the woman that he loves - there's potential there.

The Adjustment Bureau is released 4th February.
