Trespass

Trespass

Nicolas Cage is one of the busiest actors in movies as he has already got Drive Angry and Season of the Witch under his belt this year.

He teams up with fellow Oscar winner Nicole Kidman this week for his new thriller Trespass, which is directed by Joel Schumacher.

So bearing in mind that Cage is always super busy we take a look ahead to 2012 and see what projects he has in the pipeline.

Despite the first movie being absolutely abysmal Cage is set to reprise the role of Johnny Blaze in Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.

Set to hit the big screen in February Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor are in the director's chair while David S Goyer has penned the script.

The film does look a bit darker and meaner than the first, seriously there are no words to describe how bad a movie that was, and Ciaran Hinds and Idris Elba both join him on the cast list.

He has also completed work on Medallion, which sees him team up with filmmaker Simon West, his first movie since The Mechanic.

A former thief frantically searches for his missing daughter, who has been kidnapped and locked in the trunk of a taxi.

Malin Akerman, Josh Lucas and Danny Huston are also on the cast list as Medallion is set to be released next year.

Actors left, right and centre seem to be lending their voices to animation movie and Cage is no different as The Croods is set o hit the big screen in March.

This comedy animation movie takes us back  to a previously undiscovered era known as the Croodacious - a time when Mother Nature was still experimenting and the flora and fauna we know today hasn't evolved yet.

Cage lends his voice to the character of Grug while Emma Stone and the rather lovely Ryan Reynolds are also aboard the project.

And proving that he is always busy Cage is filming a movie as we speak in the form of The Frozen Ground.

This is based on the real life story of serial killer Robert Hansen and Cage is set to play Detective Glenn Flothe, a man who helped bring him to justice.

Trespass is released 11th November.
