When Colin Farrell and Martin McDonagh teamed up for the first time the result was the fantastically dark comedy In Bruges.

The pair reunite this December for their new crime/drama Seven Psychopaths which has been whipping up a storm on the festival circuit.

Seven Psychopaths is the first film for director McDonagh since the critically In Bruges and he has penned the screenplay for this project as well.

Farrell shows off his comedy quality once again with this movie as he leads an all star cast - seriously this is one of the best ensemble casts of the year.

Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson. Christopher Walken, Tom Waits, Abbie Cornish and Olga Kurylenko are all also set to star.

Seven Psychopaths follows a struggling screenwriter (Farrell) who inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends (Walken and Rockwell) kidnap a gangster’s (Harrelson) beloved Shih Tzu.

British films have enjoyed so much success this year and that success looks set to continue on into the final month of the year.

So if you are tired of all the blockbusters that have been battling it our for supremacy at the box office over the last few week then Seven Psychopaths is set to be a breath of fresh air.
