In a bid to win the heart of Victoria (sienna Miller) Tristan (Charlie Fox) goes on a quest to retrieve a fallen star.On his journey he finds a star which has transformed into a beautiful girl Yvaine (Claire Danes).But Tristan is not he only one searching for the star. Lord Stormhold's (Peter O'Toole) three living sons and the the ghosts of their four dead brothers all seek the star to vie for the throne.Lamia (Michelle Pfeffier) an evil witch also needs the star to help make her young agin. Triston must protect Yvaine from all of thes threats while encountering Captian Shakespeare (Rpbert Di Niro) and a shady trader Ferdy the Fence (Ricky Gervais).Triston's quest changes and he must win the heart of the star for himself and discover the meaning of true love.
