Mad Max: Fury Road is a movie that has just about all of the critics raving and is set to be a film not to miss when it is released at the end of the week.
It has been thirty years since we have seen a Mad Max movie hit the big screen - Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome was the last one back in 1985. Tom Hardy takes over the central role of Max Rockatansky for the first time, while George Miller is back in the director's chair.
Miller has directed all of the Mad Max movies so far and this will be the first time that the filmmaker has teamed up with Hardy. This is another big blockbuster role for Hardy and this looks set to be another box office hit for the actor.

It is not all about Hardy in this movie as Charlize Theron is set to kick some ass in the role of Imperator Furiosa. They are joined on the cast list by Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa.
They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
Hardy has revealed that he is signed on for a further three Mad Max movies so this could be the start of a brand new franchise spanning several years.
Quite how successful Mad Max: Fury Road is set to be at the box office we are going to have to wait and see but it could be one of the most successful movies of the summer. Could it be one of the biggest films of the year?
