5. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith
Having first met on the set of Will’s classic 90s television series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Jada and Will fell in love and got married on December 31, 1997. As one of Hollywood’s most solid couples, the two have worked together on a number of productions, most recently both serving as producers on the 2014 adaptation of classic tale Annie. Perhaps their most prolific feature together however was Ali, released back in 2001. There, Will and Jada took their real-life love to the big screen, taking on the roles of Muhammad Ali and Sonji Roi respectively and giving their all in a passionate and memorable performance. Unfortunately for their on-screen counterparts, Ali and Sonji, their marriage lasted just two years before ending in divorce. Thankfully, that’s not an end-result we see in store for Will and Jada!
4. Courteney Cox and David Arquette
Courteney and David are a little different to Will and Jada in that the first film they starred in together would serve as the launchpad for their whirlwind love story. Playing news reporter Gale Weathers as well as hapless police officer Deputy Dewey, the actors would become some of the most beloved from the Scream franchise, with their characters finding love in an extremely hopeless place both in the fictional world where the Ghost Face killer would terrorise them, and in real-life where they became fodder for paparazzi. The pair took their relationship to the next level in 1999, marrying thanks to their connection, but sadly after just over a decade of marriage, they decided to separate in October 2010.
3. Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor
Though they first worked together on a pilot episode of a series that never got picked up way back in 1999, something big did come of their collaborating on-set, as they found love and quickly got married in 2000. The pair would go on to star in 2001 comedy film Zoolander alongside one another, with Stiller taking on the role of male model Derek; a character interviewed by Christine’s character Matilda. Their love story on-screen isn’t a traditional one, with the pair falling for each other whilst in the midst of an orgy.
