James Franco is an actor who keeps on going from strength to strength after his Oscar nomination for 127 Hours.
This week sees him return to the big screen with his new movie This Is The End - a film that sees him team up with an all star cast.
2013 has already been a very busy year for the actor as we have seen him enjoy box office and critical success with Oz The Great and Powerful and Spring Breakers.
Franco is one of the hardest working actors in Hollywood at the moment as he has already completed work on a string of projects.
He is set to take on the role of Hugh Hefner later this summer when the Lovelace biopic hits the big screen.
The movie will chart the career of Linda Lovelace and is directed by Rob and Jeffrey Friedman.
Another movie to watch out for this year is action/thriller Homefront as Franco teams up with Jason Statham for the first time.
Directed by Gary Fleder the movie is based on the novel by Chuck Logan and the screenplay has been penned by Sylvester Stallone.
The movie follows a DEA agent who tangles with a local drug lord not long after moving to a new town.
Franco and Statham are joined on the cast list by Kate Bosworth, Winona Ryder and Rachelle Lefevre.
There are also going to be seeing Franco behind the camera a little more this year as he has had a hand in the filming of Child of God and Black Dog, Red Dog.
This Is The End sees him return to comedy as he teams up with Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride and Jay Baruchel as they all take the piss out of themselves.
The movie follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles.
As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside.
Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption - it is set to be one of the most outrageous comedies of the year.
But into 2014 and films starring James Franco keep on coming... one in particular to watch out for is True Story.
The movie sees Franco team up with Jonah Hill once again as they take on the role of Christian Longo and Michael Finkel.
True Story revolves around the relationship Finkel (Hill) and FBI most wanted murderer (Longo); the latter lived outside of the U.S. under Finkel's name.
Franco has also been working on Good People, Third Person and The Little Prince and all of them will be hitting the big screen over the next twelve to eighteen months.
Franco is one of the most talented and versatile actors in Hollywood at the moment as he moves from genre to genre as well as between in front of and behind the camera.
This Is The End is released 28th June.
