17 Again has topped the box office in Australia to take the Easter weekend crown.

The film grossed $3.1 million to topple animation Monsters vs Aliens, which grossed a further $2.8 million.

Richard Curtis' new movie The Boat That Rocked opened at number three and Race to Witch Mountain was another new entry at number four.

Knowing rounded off the top five falling two places from number two. There was a fourth number one, Dragon ball Evolution, which opened at number six.

Confessions of A Shopaholic was this week's biggest faller dropping from three to number nine Paul Blart: Mall Cop was another big faller as it dropped five places from five to ten.
