Alfred Molina

Alfred Molina has revealed that he doesn't mind taking on baddie roles.

The actor is back on the big screen this week in his new movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice, which sees him take on the role of Maxim Horvath, the evil nemesis of Baltazar Blake.

Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "I think I belong to a very long and honourable tradition of Great Britain actors who have gone out to Hollywood to play the bad guy - thank goodness it's there, it's kept me employed, it's helped me put two kids through college, so I don't want to rock the boat, I'm really happy with it."

And despite enjoying a successful career the actor has admitted that he still worries about landing movie roles.

"The anxieties don't go away simply because your circumstances change, I get just as nervous now as I did before a job when I was starting out at the age of 19," he admitted.

"I'm constantly living with this feeling that any minute now someone's going to tap me on the shoulder and say, 'I'm sorry, there's been a terrible mistake'."

Despite Molina's job worries the work has been flowing in as he has already enjoyed box office success this year with Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

He has also completed work on The Tempest, Carmel and Rango and is currently filming Abduction with Taylor Lautner and Jason Isaacs.
