Amanda Seyfried has revealed that she found playing Linda Lovelace tough as she struggled to leave the character and the story on set.

The actress is set to play the title role in the biopic movie Lovelace but because of the tough story line the actress found herself taking her work home.

And while filming on the movie has now been completed Seyfried admits that she is still 'getting over it'.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph the actress said: "I'm in a daze. It's weird. It was a really challenging role and I don't know how it's going to go for me.

"It's the first time I've ever had to play a real-life character and I took the experience home with me every night.

"It's a really troubled story and I'm still getting over it."

Lovelace will be the most adult movie role for Seyfried so far in her career, it is also the first time that she has tackled a biopic movie.

But 2012 is set to be a busy year as she has also completed work on The Big Wedding.

She is currently filming Tom Hooper's adaptation of Les Miserables, in which she will take on the role of Cosette.
