Amy Adams could be taking on the role of Janis Joplin in a new biopic movie.
The script for Janis Joplin: Get It While You Can has already been written and, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Lee Daniels is also in talks to direct the movie.
It would be the first time that Adams and Daniels will have worked together after both having enjoyed huge critical and commercial success in recent years.
And it is going to be a busy few months for the actress as she has a string of projects in the pipeline as she currently appears in On The Road with Trouble With The Curve just around the corner.
But it is The Master that is whipping up a storm in the U.S. as Adams teams up with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix.
The movie is already being considered an Oscar contender and could see the actress pick up another nod for her performance.
Plus next summer she steps into the big budget blockbuster as she takes on the role of Lois Lane in Man Of Steel.
