Charlotte Gainsbourg has revealed that working with Lars Von Trier again made her 'nervous'.

The actress teams up with the filmmaker for new movie Melancholia - which comes two years after the controversial Antichrist.

And while she admits to being nervous about working with the director again she reveals that she didn't need to read the script to say yes to the project.

In an interview with Psychologies the actress said: "I was so thrilled when he called me. I didn't need to read the script.

"I just wanted to have a new experience with him. That doesn't mean it's all easy and I am relaxed about it - not at all.

"I was nervous about working with him again, but it's good to have a bit of fear."

Despite the controversy surrounding Antichrist when it was screened at Cannes two years ago Gainsbourg went on to win Best Actress at the festival.

Melancholia will be shown at Cannes this year.
