Christina Aguilera has admitted that the dance training for Burlesque was tough on her body.
The singer made her big screen debut in the movie in which she is an aspiring performer and underwent punishing dance training to be ready for the role.
Speaking to the Associated Press the singer turned actress said: "Probably the unsexiest thing is to see a dancer's feet.
"After dancing for 17 or 18 hours a day, every day, your feet are just bruises and calluses."
"I was scared of being out there with real, professional dancers… It's harder than it looks."
The movie sees Aguilera join forces with Cher, Stanley Tucci, Kristen Bell and Cam Gigandet and opens in the UK next week.
Burlesque is released 17th December.
