Daniel Radcliffe is reportedly working with a grief psychologist to prepare for his upcoming role in The Woman In Black.

The Harry Potter star plays lawyer Arthur Kipps in the big screen adaption of Susan Hill's scary novel, which is set to hit theatres next year (11).

The young actor is determined to bring extra realism to the part and has signed up to see a psychologist to help him understand his character's emotional situation, according to Britain's The Sun.

A source tells the publication, "The preparation has been difficult. Daniel is filming a mature, complex role and wants to understand his character's emotion."

The Woman in Black will be directed by James Watkins and will also star Ciran Hinds and Janet McTeer, the film sees Radcliffe's career take a new direction as Harry Potter comes to an end.

Radcliffe will star as Potter in two more movies as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has been split into two.

The Journey Is The Destination and All Quiet On The Western Front are just two other projects that the actor has in the pipeline.
