Daniel Radcliffe

Daniel Radcliffe

Daniel Radcliffe has described shooting gay love scenes as 'something new'.

The actor takes on the role of poet Allen Ginsberg in new film Kill Your Darlings, which is being screen at the Sundance Film Festival.

It is the first film for Radcliffe since he enjoyed huge success for The Woman In Black but this was a whole new shooting experience for the actor.

Speaking to E! the actor said: "It was something new. But you know what, we shot that whole scene in maybe an hour and a half so it was incredibly fast-paced. I didn't really have time to stop to think and worry about it."

"[Director] John [Krokidas] was very helpful in furnishing me with a lot of graphic detail of what I would be experiencing at the various stages."

The movie sees Radcliffe team up with Elizabeth Olsen, Michael C. Hall, Ben Foster and Dane DeHaan while he works with director Krokidas for the first time.

We are going to be seeing more of Radcliffe on the big screen this year as he has also completed work on Horns and The F Word.

His last acting project saw him tackle a TV role as he teamed up with John Hamm for A Young Doctor's Notebook.
