Daniel Radcliffe says that he is proud of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2.

The movie closed the franchise out with a bang earlier this summer and fans flocked to cinemas all round the world to say goodbye to the boy wizard.

The film has so far taken in excess of $1.266 billion at the global box office - making it not only the biggest film in the Potter series and the biggest grossing movie of 2011 so far but it is also the third biggest grossing movie of all time behind Avatar & Titanic.

Speaking to Access Hollywood the actor said: "Particularly this last film, I'm so proud of the way we've gone out 'cause I think it's so much better than any of the other films made."

Potter may have finished for Radcliffe bit the Brit star has plenty of work coming his way.

He has already completed filming on The Woman In Black, a big screen adaptation of the Susan Hill novel, and that promises to be one of the creepiest movies of next year.

He is also returned to the stage earlier this year as musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying opened on Broadway.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 is out now.
