David Morrissey (‘Doctor Who’, ‘Sense and Sensibility’, ‘State of Play, ‘Nowhere Boy’) will launch the Time Out Film Club at the Cineworld Haymarket in London on March 22nd when he will host an exclusive one-off screening of British cinema classic ‘Don’t Look Now’.
This will be Time Out Film Club’s first ever event and kicks-off a series of exclusive screenings of films from Time Out’s 100 Best British Films, as recently chosen by 150 film industry experts.
These rare cinema screenings are open to the public with tickets costing just £12, around the same price as a regular West End cinema ticket.
Each screening will feature introductions from leading members of the British cinema world, with Morrissey headlining as the first guest.

Earlier this month, a panel of film experts including Sam Mendes (Director of American Beauty) and Wes Anderson (Director of Fantastic Mr Fox) selected the 1970s classic romantic thriller ‘Don’t Look Now’ as the Best British Film of all time, beating the likes of popular British movies such as Trainspotting and Four Weddings and a Funeral to the top spot.
Morrissey was one of the panellists who selected 'Don't Look Now' as one of his favourite all-time British films in Time Out's 100 Best British Films.
‘Don’t Look Now’ stars Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland as a married couple, who are sucked into a dangerous mystery in Venice while recovering from the death of their daughter.
