Eva Mendes wants theatre role.
The Hitch star wants to follow in the footsteps of Josh Hartnett, Keira Knightley, Christian Slater and Sienna Miller and tread the boards in the West End.
But Mendes admits she's still searching for the perfect part.
She tells Britain's Daily Express, "I am actively pursuing a play in London. It has not happened yet but I'm hoping it will.
"To do something in theatre would be a dream come true."
Mendes was last seen on the big screen when she teamed up with Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell in The Other Guys.
She is set to return with her new movie Last Night, which also stars Keira Knightley and Sam Worthington.
She is currently filming See If I Care.
