The Notting Hill actor lends his voice to The Pirates! in an Adventure with Scientists, the latest movie from Aardman animation.
Speaking on the red carpet at the movie's premiere the actor admits that he was drawn by that English sense of humour.
The Pirates! in an Adventure with Scientists is the first movie for Grant since Did You Hear About The Morgans? back in 2010 and it teams him up with Salma Hayek, Brendan Gleeson and David Tennant.
The actor is set for a busy year as he will also be starring in the big screen adaptation of novel Cloud Atlas.
The Pirates! in an Adventure with Scientists is released 28th March
