Hugh Jackman says that he was thrilled to be in London for the premiere of Les Miserables as he believed that the UK capital is the spiritual home of the musical.
Jackman was on the red carpet in London earlier this week to promote the movie in which he takes on the role of Jean Valjean.
In this interview with him on the red carpet he admitted that he has been a fan of this story since he was eighteen and he is glad they have waited to long to make the film so he could play this part.
Les Miserables really is gaining Oscar momentum and Jackman is tipped for a possible Best Actor Oscar nomination for his performance in the movie.
Jackman was joined on the red carpet by co-stars Anne Hathaway and Russell Crowe as well as director Tom Hooper.
And 2013 is set to be a busy year for the popular star as we are also going to be seeing him in Movie 43 and The Wolverine.
