Joel Edgerton is set to star in new movie Felony.
The Aussie actor is also set to show off his writing skills with this project as he has also penned the script.
The movie is set to be directed Matthew Saville and filming will begin on the movie in October of this year.
Edgerton has seen his star rise sharply over the last eighteen months or so with roles in the likes of Animal Kingdom and Warrior.
He has already completed work on The Odd Life Of Timothy Green, which sees him team up with Jennifer Garner, and that will be released later this year.
He is also set to take on the role of Tom Buchanan in Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of F.Scott Fitzgerald's novel The Great Gatsby - which will also star Leonardo DiCaprion and Carey Mulligan.
Edgerton is currently filming Zero Dark Thirty, which is the new project from Oscar winning filmmaker Kathryn Bigelow.
