And Hutcherson admits that he likes the character and relationship development in the movie revealing that are some emotional scenes.

Speaking to MTV News the actor said: "It's very similar to the book. Probably my favourite scenes are all the scenes with myself and Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) in the cave, because they're really emotional.

"You get to see a lot of their relationship develop there, so for me as an actor, I liked that a lot.

"And then of course all the physical running through the forest - that was really fun as well."

The HUnger Games is just one of a series of projects in the pipeline for the actor as he has already completed work on Red Dawn, Carmel and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
