Kristen Stewart has called the end of the Twilight franchise as 'weird'.

The actress returns to the role of Bella Swan this week in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, which is the final instalment of the final chapter.

And Stewart reveals that she has mixed emotion about seeing the popular series of movies come to an end.

Speaking to Parade the actress said: It's weird that we are not waiting to go back and do another one, but at the same time, it feels finished. It's sad and it's not sad.

"You sort of have to put yourself into those moments and realise that you should appreciate that they are going by.

"It's just time to move on, but I'm sure I'll talk about Twilight for the rest of my career."

Bill Condon is in the director's chair for the latest movie - which sees Edward and Bella's relationship put to the ultimate test.

But away from the Twilight franchise and Stewart is currently filming Snow White and the Huntsman, a new spin on the popular tale.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 is released 18th November.
